Kongu Arts and Science College, established in 1994, is an autonomous co-educational institution affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. With the noble vision of uplifting students from rural communities, the college has steadily grown into a centre of excellence in higher education. Nestled in a 27.24-acre green campus with a serene and picturesque environment, it provides the perfect setting for learning and holistic development. The institution is accredited by NAAC with an A+ Grade with 3.49 out of 4 in Cycle IV, certified under ISO 21001:2018, and recognized as a NIRF-ranked college. Autonomy was conferred in 2015, and the college is among the few institutions in the region to offer AICTE-approved BBA and BCA programmes.

The Ministry of Education honoured it as the Cleanest College in the Country under the Swachhta Ranking of Higher Education Institutions. It has also received the Meendum Manjappai Award, the Tamil Nadu Green Champion Award 2024 for its outstanding contributions towards environmental conservation and protection, and the State-Level First Prize in the Best Anti-Drug Club Award 2024 - 2025.
