ABOUT THE TRUST

The Kongu Vellalar Institute of Technology Trust was founded in the year 1983 by forty-one philanthropists of the Kongu Vellalar Community. The institutions which were established by the Trust are Kongu Polytechnic College, Kongu Engineering College, Kongu Arts and Science College, Kongu Industrial Training Institute, Kongu National Matriculation Higher Secondary School, and Kongu Naturopathy and Yoga Medical College and Hospital. All the institutions are marching towards the pinnacle of glory through their remarkable achievements and laurels in diverse fields of education. The institutions have earned name and fame and have become known for their excellence in education not only in Tamil Nadu but also across the nation. This has been the result of continuous efforts to maintain a state-of-the-art approach in the field of education.
