About NSS
In our College, 4 N.S.S Units are effectively functioning with a strength of 400 volunteers. Four units of college NSS are implementing the programme regularly.
Volunteership Details
120 Hours per volunteer per year. Maximum volunteership period is two years.
Special Camp Programme
The Special Camp period is seven days.

Objectives of NSS
Developing a sense of social and civic responsibility.
Understand the community in which they work.
Understand themselves in relation to their community.
Identify the needs and problems of the community and involve them in problem solving.
Develop among themselves a sense of social and civic responsibility.
Utilize their knowledge in finding practical solutions to individual and community problems.
Develop competence required for group-living and sharing of responsibilities.
