Kongu Arts and Science College is committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and empowering environment for all students. Recognizing the pivotal role educational institutions play in shaping attitudes and behaviors, the Gender Champion Club has been established to promote gender sensitivity, equality, and respect among young minds.
Since gender socialization begins early, initiating change processes during the formative college years is essential. The Club engages students in meaningful activities, discussions, and initiatives designed to nurture leaders who challenge gender stereotypes, promote equal opportunities, and advocate for the rights and dignity of all individuals. This initiative aligns with the joint vision of the Ministry of Women and Child Development and the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to build a just and equitable society.
The Gender Champion Club aims to harness the energy, sense of justice, and leadership potential of students, thereby strengthening a campus culture that values gender equity and empowers every individual to realize their fullest potential.
