Talent Hunt was organized for the first U.G students of our College by providing a forum to the budding achievers to nurture their hidden talents at Silver jubilee Hall on 26.07.2025 around 200 students have participated and exhibited their talents.

On 23.08.2025, the Fine Arts Club members of our college performed a cultural program during the Founders' Day celebration

The Fine Arts Club and Eco Club of our college, in association with the NilgirisNext Foundation for Arts and Culture (NXF), Coimbatore, organized an awareness Documentary Film Screening on Climate Change, AI Ethics, Cultural Identity, and Social Justice on 02.12.2025 and 03.12.2025 at the UVS Hall. This programme helped the students understand the challenges in these crucial areas and emphasized the importance of conserving nature and preserving cultural values.

Kongu Cultural Fest – 2026, an Intra-Collegiate Event, was organized on 24.01.2026 at the Open Auditorium to provide students with an opportunity to experience, celebrate, and explore cultural diversity through music and the arts. Around 300 students actively participated and showcased their talents and creativity in various events. In this fest, the Department of Commerce with Computer Applications won the Winner’s Trophy, while the Runner-up Trophy was secured by the Department of English.

The Fine Arts Club, in association with the Anti-Drug Club, organized an Awareness Flash Mob on the theme “Awareness of Drug Addiction” on 12.02.2026. Students from various departments actively participated in the programme. The event created significant awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and helped students understand its physical, psychological, social, and legal consequences. Through this engaging activity, the message of leading a healthy and drug-free life was effectively conveyed to the student community.

The Fine Arts Club conducted various competitions for college students on 10.02.2026. The events included Tamil and English Oratorical, Solo Singing, MIME, Group Dance, and Wealth Out of Waste competitions, providing a vibrant platform to showcase diverse talents and foster creativity. Students from different departments enthusiastically participated and won prizes, reflecting their individual talents, teamwork, and the strong spirit of collaboration and active involvement within the institution.

Achievers Day was celebrated on 06.03.2026 (FN) in UVS Hall. Our alumni Dr. G. Barani, Associate Professor, Bharathiar School of Management and Entrepreneur Development, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, and Mr. K. Deepan Chakravarthy, Senior Process Administrator, Rolls Royce India Private Limited, Bangalore, were invited as special guests. Students and staff members who achieved academic excellence during the academic year 2025–2026 were honoured with shields and cash prizes.

During the academic year, our college reached a pinnacle of success by bagging 8 Overall Trophies. In addition, 452 students won prizes with a total cash award of ₹2,77,300 in various intercollegiate events conducted by different institutions.

Fine Arts Club and Department of Costume Design and Fashion with Kovai Makkal Sevai Maiyam and Dream Zone organized a Handloom Fashion Show in accordance with National Handloom Day to give an influence to the handloom sector & to motivate the students to use more handloom products in their day-to-day life on 26.07.2024(FN).

Our Fine Arts Club members welcomed their juniors by performing a Flash Mob 26.07.2024 at 4.10 PM.

Fine Arts club in association with Eco Club of our college organized an awareness skit on “Reduction of Single use Plastics (SUPs) Usage” on 30.12.2024 at 4.10 PM in front of main Building. This programme encouraged individuals to reduce the usages of plastics and imparted the knowledge about the plastic-free living benefits.

Fine Arts club in association with Anti-Drug Committee of our college organized awareness flash mob on “Awareness of Drug Addiction” on 31.12.2024 at 4.10 PM in front of main building. This programme increases the students' awareness about the dangers and consequences of drug abuse.

In this fest, Department of Computer Applications (UG) Won the winner Trophy and the runner trophy was bagged by the Department of Computer Science (UG).

Fine Arts Club organized a fantastic event on 21.02.2025, offering a variety of competitions for students to participate in. The mix of Tamil and English Oratorical, Solo Singing, Group Dance, and Wealth Out Waste Competitions is a great way to showcase different talents and encourage creativity. It’s especially exciting that Fine Arts Club members from various departments actively participated and won prizes, highlighting the spirit of collaboration and involvement.

The video-making competition on "SAY NO TO DRUGS" organized by the Fine Arts Club in association with the Anti-Drug Committee on 28.02.2025 allows participants to express their thoughts and ideas visually, which can leave a lasting impact on the audience.

Further, Memento (Laptop Bag) were distributed as part of bidding a farewell to all the outgoing U.G and P.G students on the same day. Thiru. P.Sachithanandan, Patron Member, KVIT Trust presided the function and Mr.Gowrisankar Gunasekaran, Business Intelligence Vice President, Wells Fargo, Bangalore and Ms.S.Tamizh, Political Anchor / Journalist, News 7 Tamil TV Channel, Chennai delivered the chief guest address. Staff members and student achievers were awarded with cash prizes and memento for their achievements during the academic year 2024-2025.

Our students have actively participated in various national and state level Inter collegiate meets and in total, 410 students have won prizes in various events including 10 Overall trophies and cash prize of Rs.166075 and brought laurels to our Institution during the academic year 2024- 2025.

Fine Arts Club of our college has organized Tamil, English Oratorical and Wealth out waste Competitions for our college students on 03.01.2024. Fine Arts Club members from various departments have actively participated in this event and won prizes.

A training programme on tips in making a short film was conducted on 17.02.2024 at Room No: MB-316 with 40 participants. The session was handled by Mr. Sundar G K, Assistant Director, Chennai.

Solo Song and Group Dance competitions were conducted for the members on 27.02.2024 (AN) at Silver Jubilee Seminar Hall.

In Collaboration with Radio Merchi, Fine Arts Club organized “Mirchi Kaloori Stars 2024" on 29.02.2024 at Ramanujam Hall. Around 300 students have participated and exhibited their talents and won prizes.

During NAAC Peer Team visit, members of our Fine Arts Club have performed a mega Cultural Event on 17.08.2023 and 22.11.2023.

Staff members and student achievers were awarded with cash prizes and memento for their achievements during the academic year 2023-2024.

Our students have actively participated in various inter collegiate meets around the state and in total, 245 students have won prizes in various events including 09 Overall trophies and cash prize of Rs.1,28,180 and brought laurels to our Institution during the academic year 2023- 2024.

In connection with World Students’ Day Fine Arts Club of our college has organized Oratorical Tamil and English and Drawing Competitions for our college students on 14.10.2022. Fine Arts Club members from various departments actively participated in this event.

National Level Cultural Fest – Kongu Utsav – 20K3, an Inter Collegiate Completion was organized on 24.03.2023. 500 Students from 53 Colleges have actively participated in this event. Overall Championship trophy was won by Lody Dock College, Madurai. Guest of honor for the programme was Mr.Mohamed Kurashi, a standup comedian in Vijay television.

Our students have actively participated in various inter collegiate meets around the state and in total, 173 students have won prizes in various events including 4 Overall trophies and cash prize of Rs. 74,250 and brought laurels to our Institution during the academic year 2022- 2023.

Online Talent Hunt was organized for I & II (UG & PG) students of our College by providing a forum to the budding achievers to nurture their hidden talents from form 25.10.2021 to 03.11.2021. Fine Arts Club members from various departments actively participated in this event.

In order to create awareness, Fine Arts Club in association with Rotary Club of our college performed a skit on "Prevention of Tobacco" on 10.03.2022 in our college premises.

An online Art and Craft Quiz for Fine Arts Club members was conducted from 22.07.2020 to 28.07.2020. In this, 250 members were actively participated.

In total, 242 students have won prizes in various events including 14 Overall trophies and cash prize of Rs. 1,91,500 and brought laurels to our Institution during the academic year 2019 – 2020.

On behalf of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations, an Inter Collegiate Cultural Meet was organized on 24.01.2019 and this fest provided a bigger platform for fostering friendly relations among other college students.

An "Art Expo" was organized along with Photography Club on 27.02.2019 for encouraging the importance of art and photographic skills among the students.

Our College students participated in Dheeran Chinnamalai Memorial Day Celebrations at Odanilai organized by Tamil Nadu Government – Headed by Erode Collectorate on 03.08.2017.

State Level Cultural Selection was made by Radio Mirchi for our College Students in our Campus on 28.08.2017 at U.V Swaminatha Iyer Arangam and best two teams were selected for the next level.
